How did you meet Bosqueen?

 

I met Bosqueen when I was at an event, cannot remember which. I inboxed her and asked if I could interview her as Artist of the Month for my magazine. She answered immediately and arranged an interview. During the interview we spoke about the industry and how much I enjoy dancing. She mentioned that she had some open positions for dancers. I completed an application and I have been dancing for her about a year and a half.

 

How is it working with her?

 

Is she a stuck up no , a Diva yes, we all have a little diva in us. When you work with Bosqueen you need to be ready to work. She is very good at what she does and her professionalism is always first and foremost. I enjoy working with her because she knows what she wants and it makes it easier to produce great work.

 

Since we are going back to when it all first started with Bosqueen.. what is your favorite song and/or album? Video?

 

Lol of course I'm going to pick a video I was in..So... I'm going to have to say Red Wine Video, because we were oh so sexy lol. Truthfully I love all of her of her videos They are always , clear , concise with great dances, picture quality and storylines. Each video is always entertainment at it's best.

 

As an artist do you feel Bosqueen gets her "props" from her peers? (Outside the label)

 

Well, in the IMVU music industry it is hard for seasoned artists to get "props" from the newer artists that are not aware that there are people doing it before they were and much better. Like in any industry you have your "haters" and mud slingers. The better you are at what you do, the more shade you have. I think that more artists outside the label are starting to realize the works put in by BosQueen and appreciate that she is one of the trailblazers in IMVU music.

 

 

In your opinion, who do you think (or if you think there is) so much controversy around Bosqueen and Royalty Records?

 

As I stated above , if there is any controversy surrounding BosQueen or Royalty Records, it is simply because she is one of the best in the business. When you are on the top people always have to find a way to try and bring you down. To dull your shine. Controversy simply means you're doing something right because they are paying attention..   

 

 

What was your first impression of her when you first met her?

 

I liked her immediately. Being a writer for a magazine and dealing with all types of creators, developers and entertainers on IMVU had made me wary of doing interviews. When people are successful on IMVU they can become snooty, reserved or conceited. From the moment i contacted Bos for an interview, she was cordial, prompt and made the interview so fun and easy. It was a great time.

 

Has she impacted you in anyway?

 

Yes, she has made me want more for my business and myself . She has shown me that you an accomplish whatever you set your mind on, and she has shown me that no matter how much people come for you, ALWAYS keep it cool and professional. Never let them see you sweat.
